We're partnering with an innovative and fast-growing energy/ infrastructure company in Dublin, to hire a Commercial Finance Manager.
This is a newly created role due to continued expansion and increased activity across Ireland and Europe.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical finance capabilities, commercial awareness, and a 'roll up your sleeves' mindset suited to a dynamic, early-stage environment.
Key Responsibilities1.
Core Accounting & Finance Operations Support the CFO, overseeing day-to-day finance including invoicing, AP/AR, bank reconciliations and month-end close Support preparation of management accounts, statutory reporting, and audits Liaise with external providers and internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and compliance Build, review and update financial models for new site acquisitions and investment opportunities Present and explain models to internal and external stakeholders – clarity and commercial reasoning is key Support the wider team in feasibility analysis, pricing, and project evaluation3.
Entity Structuring & Set-Up Assist with the creation and registration of new entities across multiple jurisdictions Work with legal and commercial teams to ensure optimal structuring and governance Set up appropriate financial systems and processes for each entity About You Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3–5 years' PQEExperience in energy, infrastructure, renewables or a fast-paced/start-up environment preferred, but not essential Strong financial modelling skills and can clearly explain assumptions Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats Proactive, commercially minded, and keen to make a real impact in a growing business What's on Offer A pivotal role in a high-growth business at the forefront of Ireland's energy transition Autonomy, variety and exposure to commercial decision-making Collaborative and supportive team culture with strong leadership and vision Competitive salary, hybrid working and long-term development opportunities For more information, apply within or contact Conor Dignam.
