Were looking for an External Account Manager to join a market-leading chemical distribution company, where youll manage and grow a portfolio of customers across a wide range of industries, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping customer relationships and driving sustainable business growth. What Youll Be Doing Sales & Account Management Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts, consistently hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin targets. Drive face-to-face client engagement youll be on the road regularly, strengthening relationships and uncovering growth opportunities. Actively develop new business and open trading accounts with strategic prospects. Maintain a strong pipeline and area sales plan with clear actions, timelines, and measurable goals. Work closely with Business Development Managers and internal stakeholders to maximize sales potential. Stay ahead of the curve with competitor analysis, market trends, and new product developments. Reporting & Insight Keep your finger on the pulse of your sales territory by submitting timely visit reports and monthly business updates. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and follow-up on leads or actions. What You Bring to the Table A strong track record in B2B sales ideally within the chemical or industrial sectors. Proven ability to grow accounts and open doors in a competitive marketplace. Strategic mindset with a knack for identifying opportunities others miss. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills you enjoy meeting clients and becoming their trusted advisor. A degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field is a strong plus. Full drivers license (held for at least 12 months).
