Role OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedSite Foremanto oversee day-to-day operations on a new-build apartment development at Cork Marina. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining health & safety standards, while delivering the project on programme and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all site activities, ensuring work is completed to the required standards, on time and within budget.Supervise subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of works.Implement and enforce health & safety regulations in line with company and statutory requirements.Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely progress.Monitor and record site progress, reporting regularly to management.Ensure quality control procedures are followed and snag lists are managed effectively.Support the implementation of project schedules, sequencing, and logistics planning.Resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.Maintain good client, consultant, and stakeholder relations at all times.RequirementsProven experience as a Site Foreman on large-scale residential or commercial construction projects, preferably apartment blocks.Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methodologies, and finishing standards.Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate site teams.Strong organisational and communication skills.Commitment to delivering projects to the highest standards of safety and quality.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.IT literacy (MS Office, construction management software beneficial).Relevant trade qualification or construction-related degree/diploma desirable.Valid Safe Pass and other relevant site certifications.PackageCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Company vehicle / travel allowance.Pension and benefits package.Opportunity to work on a landmark project in Cork with a leading main contractor.
