Title: Accreditation Manager Accountable to: CEO Reposting to: Head of Operations, ISQua External Evaluation Association Contract: Perm, Full Time Location: Dublin 2 with an option for Hybrid working. Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: Commensurate with experience. Purpose of the role: Thisrolehasthefollowingkeyresponsibilities: To support and manage services delivered by the ISQua External Evaluation Association (ISQua EEA). TosupportandmanagetheInternationalAccreditationProgramme(IAP)externalevaluation service. To provide technical advice to participating organisations and surveyors involved in the IAP. To support the ISQua EEA Executive Committee and Board in the implementation of all external evaluation programmes and services. Job responsibilities AccreditationManagementandClientLiaison Act as the primaryliaison and contact between client organisations involved in the ISQua EEAInternationalAccreditationProgramme(IAP)andsurveyorswhoundertakethe surveysor assessments. Co-ordinate andmanage theoverall IAPsurveyorassessmentprocessfortheassessment of standards,surveyortrainingprogrammesand externalevaluationorganisations including: Allocatingsurveyorsorassessorstoeachscheduledassessmentorsurvey Working with client organisations and surveyors to manage the critical path or allocated timelinesfor each scheduledassessmentor surveyto ensurethatall tasks are completedin linewiththeagreed critical path. Answering and addressing any questions or queries that client organisations or surveyors may have about a self-assessment submission or the overall IAP survey process. Providetechnicaladvicetoclientorganisationsthroughthereviewof theircompleted self-assessmentdocumentationin linewith thespecificISQuaEEA standards. Performqualityassurancereviewsofcompletedsurveyreportsandtoworkwith surveyors to ensure that the report is thorough and completed in line with the relevant/appropriateISQuaEEA standardsand identifiedsurveytimelines. Co-ordinate the validation panel review process and the preparation of reports for review andsign-offby theISQuaEEAExternalEvaluationAwardCommittee. LiaisingwiththeIAPCoordinatortoensurethat theyare aware of all expensesincurred and wherefollow up or assistanceis requiredon theirpart. Developandcirculateevaluationquestionnairestoclientorganisationsandsurveyors. Liaise with clientorganisationsto ensurethatcontinuousassessmentreportsare completedin linewiththeir identifiedsurveycritical pathdates. Review continuous assessment reports and accompanying evidence to validate that action is being taken. Evaluation: Ensure all external evaluation products including the IAP products (standards, surveyor trainingprogramme,quality and patient safety trainingprogrammesand external evaluation organisations) are evaluated and relevant actions put in place to improve the standards,surveyorassessmentprocess,surveyortrainingand/ortheoverall programme. Surveyor workforce: Developand/ordeliverinitialororientationandcontinuousdevelopmenttrainingprogrammesfor surveyorsto ensureadherenceto theISQuaEEA surveyprocess. Developguidancedocumentsandothertrainingorresourcematerialsforsurveyorsto ensureadherenceto the ISQua EEA surveyprocess. Assistwith the preparationof trainingmaterialsfor surveyorsfor newexternal evaluation programmes if required. Evaluatealltrainingprogrammesandusetheresultsoftheseevaluationstomake improvements. Development: Assist with the drafting of standards to underpin any new external evaluation programmes/products. ReviewandprovidefeedbackondraftstandardsforISQuaEEAprogrammes. Assist with the piloting and assessment process for draft standards with potential client organisations and surveyors. Assist with the development of assessment materials for new external evaluation programmes. Assist with the developmentof resource documents and information materials for client organisationsand surveyorsfor new externalevaluation programmes. AssistwithandsupporttheimplementationofanyagreedchangestoISQuaEEA processesincludingtheupdatingandcommunicationof anyrelatedISQuaEEApolicies and procedures. Assessment methodologies Assistwiththedevelopmentofnewassessmentmethodologiesfor neworexisting external evaluation programmes. Assistwiththe developmentof assessmentguidesandtools for clientorganisations and surveyorsfor any new assessmentmethodology. Assistwith thedevelopmentof any newtrainingmaterialsfor surveyorsfor any new assessment methodology. Assistwiththe deliveryof trainingforsurveyorsonanynew assessmentmethodology if required. Communication: Reportas necessaryon theprogressof all externalevaluation activitiesincludingIAP surveys to the Head of Operations. Contribute to the development of papers, marketing materials including website content and e-zines to communicate with external evaluation organisations including IAP stakeholder groups and to promote the work of the IAP. To represent ISQua EEA and to deliver presentations on the work of ISQua EEA and its external evaluation programmes including the IAP as required. Be sensitive and adaptable to cultural diversity. The responsibilitiesanddutiesshouldnot be consideredas an exhaustivelistingand is anindication of the dutiesinvolved. PersonSpecification Qualifications Essential Third level qualification. Desirable Third level qualification in health or social care. Experience Essential Experience of working with an accreditation or other external evaluation organisation in a similar role managing the individual surveys or assessments in line with the identified timelines for each, allocating surveyors to survey teams, reviewing survey reports, developing and/or updating resource materials for clients or surveyors and associated policies and procedures for the programme and/or experience working as an Accreditation Manager in a healthcare facility, and/or as a surveyor in healthcare accreditation (including as an ISQua EEA surveyor on the International Accreditation Programme (IAP). Desirable Experience of external evaluation including accreditation, regulation, certification, licensing or standards development or revision. Skills Essential Understandingof how to interpret healthor social care standards. IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Report writing and editing skills Project Management Communication Desirable Experience of evaluation tools such as Survey Monkey or equivalent. Work Practice Essential Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required. Continuingeducation Essential Evidence of participation in relevant professional development. Other Desirable Understanding of a wide range of international cultures and political and health care systems
