Job description Are you a Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist seeking a modern and fulfilling path within the healthcare sector? Job Overview: As a Functional Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping claimants navigate the claim process by conducting a unique blend of engaging consultations. Your expertise will assist in producing comprehensive health and well-being reports, ensuring claimants receive the support they deserve, all while maintaining your respected healthcare license. Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct a unique blend of 3 comprehensive assessments per day, evaluating clients' physical and mental health to assess their functional abilities. Prepare detailed and accurate reports based on assessment findings, ensuring clarity and proper analysis of all relevant information. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to develop tailored care plans that address each client's specific needs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in functional assessment to ensure high standards of practice. Provide clear explanations to clients regarding the assessment process and outcomes, ensuring they are supported and informed throughout. Participate in training and development opportunities to continually enhance assessment skills and professional knowledge. Essential Criteria: Hold a valid licence to practice as an occupational therapist, nurse, physiotherapist, paramedic, or doctor. Be fully registered with the appropriate licensing body (HCPC, NMC, GMC). Have at least one year of post-registration experience. Have the legal right to work in the UK. Possess a valid driving licence or access to reliable transport. Successfully pass a government Baseline Personnel Security Standard vetting, including a DBS or Access NI check.
