We are seeking a new Director of Nursing for our fabulous Anovocare Nursing Home based just next to Dublin Airport in Co. Dublin. We are looking for a DON with prior experience of managing a c. 115/120 bed home who has excellent leadership qualities, a positive disposition, and strong clinical skills to work with and lead our fabulous team of Nurses, Carers, Catering, Housekeeping and Administration staff to deliver safe, person centred, high quality care to our lovely residents in the beautiful setting of Anovocare in line withHIQA standardsandHealth Act 2007regulations. The ideal candidate should have the following skills in order to be shortlisted for the role: Professional Registration Must be aRegistered Nursewithactive registrationwith theNursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Minimum of3 years post-registration experiencein care of the older person. At least3 years in a nursing management role, preferably within a nursing home or similar long-term care setting. Education Hold aminimum Level 6 qualification(Ordinary Bachelors Degree or higher) in Nursing or a related healthcare field and already be on the DON register. Hold aminimum Level 8 qualification(Ordinary Bachelors Degree or higher) in Nursing or a related healthcare field or be committed to completing this course. Apostgraduate qualificationinNursing Management,Gerontology,Healthcare Leadership, orHealthcare Managementis strongly preferred. Skills Strongproblem-solving and crisis managementskills. Demonstrated empathy, integrity, and respect in all interactions. Confidence to lead insafeguarding, complaints handling, and incident investigation.
