My client is one of Ireland's top-ranked universities based in heart of Dublin.About the RoleThis role is focused on technology delivery for driving the planning, implementation and upgrade to the existing on‑premise document management platform for HR. The role will be suitable for someone who would like to deliver a short term but critical project which is expected to be 3–6 month in duration initially. There are plans for additional related projects underway which may present further opportunities within this organisation.My client operates a hybrid working model, generally requesting 2 days per week in the office but with additional flexibility available as required.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem AdministrationConfiguring, maintaining, and monitoring SharePoint Server farms or SharePoint Online tenants.Site and Content Management: Creating and managing site collections, content types, and site structures to support business processes.Permissions and Security: Setting up user access, managing permissions, and auditing security settings for data integrity.Troubleshooting and Support: Resolving platform issues and supporting end-users to ensure high availability.Migration and Upgrades: Planning and executing upgrades and migrating content from older versions or external systems to SharePoint Online.Technical ExpertiseDrive data migration, document classification, and system configuration activitiesStrong knowledge of SharePoint Online/M365, SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell.Background: Experience with web technologies and database management.Analytical Skills: Excellent problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting issues.Communication: Ability to provide user training and document processes with stakeholder management experience across IT and business teamsSupport user adoption, UAT, and transition into BAUEnsure strong governance across scope, timeline, risks, and dependencies (RAID)Key RequirementsThis role would align with candidates who have 3+ years in a technical role focusing on SharePoint Administration/IT Project Manager.Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.Microsoft Certification (e.g., MS‑300, MS‑301, or equivalent M365 certifications) is often required or preferred.PRINCE/PMP preferred.RemunerationThe remuneration for this role can be offered as a daily rate contract or an hourly rate temporary position with an attractive rate on offer to the right candidate.ContactPlease apply in confidence and contact Charlie Bigger at c.bigger@brightwater.ie | DDI: 01 592 7867.
