We combine technical rigour with customer‑first delivery to decarbonise homes and buildings across Leinster.Role overview:As a Retrofit Building Surveyor you will lead technical surveys and on‑site assessments for private and SEAI‑allocated retrofit works. You will translate complex building physics into clear retrofit roadmaps, ensure compliance with SEAI/NSAI standards, and act as the technical face of LLS to homeowners and stakeholders.Key responsibilities:Conduct detailed retrofit surveys (measured surveys, fabric, ventilation, heating, renewables, etc.) and produce clear technical reports and measured drawings.Deliver Home Energy Assessments (HEA) and retrofit roadmaps for SEAI One Stop Shop / WHS projects.Ensure compliance with SEAI DTSS & QADP, NSAI SR54 and Irish Building Regulations; prepare DEAP inputs and BER advisory reports.Customer engagement: explain findings, grant eligibility, and recommended measures to homeowners; manage expectations and secure sign‑off.Technical knowledge: resolve technical queries, and participate in project scheduling and QA review.Support estimating & sales: provide technical input to quotes and identify appropriate upsell opportunities.Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to continuous improvement of survey templates, checklists and processes.Essential qualifications & experience:Registered SEAI BER Assessor (domestic) with demonstrable experience delivering HEA/One Stop Shop projects.Minimum 4 years' retrofit or building surveying experience with hands‑on site assessment work.Proven knowledge of SEAI/NSAI compliance, SR54 guidance, and Irish Building Regulations.Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.Full driving licence and willingness to travel within Leinster.Desirable:Chartered/degree‑level qualification in Building Surveying or equivalent.BER Assessor training certificate.Experience with airtightness testing and ventilation calculations.Familiarity with DEAP BER software.Experience working on SEAI WHS or similar grant‑funded retrofit programmes.What we offer:Company vehicle.Competitive pension.Company phone, laptop and IT support & training.Training budget and paid CPD to maintain SEAI/BER registration.Clear career path into Technical Lead or Project Management roles.Standard working hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to FridayJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carCompany eventsCompany pensionSick payExperience:SEAI Retrofit or Building Surveying : 4 years (required)Building Surveyor: 4 years (required)Language:Fluent English (required)Licence/Certification:Full EU driving licence (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
