About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Customer Delivery Network Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping our net-zero electricity system by 2040.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilize your expertise in delivering high-quality designs that meet customer expectations and company standards.


Main Responsibilities:

* Design Development: Prepare high-quality designs for new or increased customer connections, including domestic, commercial, and industrial connections.
* Cable Route Planning: Calculate electrical loads, develop costs, produce design drawings, and measure design clearances on electricity networks from LV to 38kV.
* Project Coordination: Prepare Scopes of work, costing templates, and safety documentation.
* Collaboration: Liaise with Local Authorities, landowners, and other parties to obtain routes for underground cables and overhead lines.

* A Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or higher qualification in Electrical, Electrical Services, Electronics, Mechanical, or other suitable alternative qualification with a substantial electrical theory content.
* A fully qualified driving license.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a larger design team.
