Motor Injury Claims Handler wanted for Insurance Company - South Dublin
Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Motor Injury Claims Handler to join our client's team in Dublin. This role involves the proactive management of a portfolio of bodily injury and liability claims from notification through to settlement.
The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model, with two days per week in the office.
Your Role
* Manage a portfolio of motor injury claims from initial notification to settlement.
* Assess policy cover and evaluate liability through investigation and analysis.
* Conduct negotiations with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders to achieve fair settlements.
* Ensure claims are handled in line with regulatory requirements, including the Consumer Protection Code and GDPR.
* Monitor financial exposure on claims and maintain appropriate reserves.
* Handle litigation files and attend court hearings and settlement discussions as required.
* Identify and escalate potential fraudulent claims to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an efficient claims process.
Your Skills:
* CIP qualification is required (or equivalent: Dip CII, Grandfathered, ACII).
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of motor injury claims.
* Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Good understanding of claims handling regulations and processes.
* Experience handling litigated claims is desirable.
