Job Description The role of Distribution Team Leader is important to us.
You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products throughout Ireland and Europe.
Additional responsibilities will be to ensure effective stock control and ensuring sufficient training and contingency planning is in place.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Your responsibilities day to day will be...
Manage the day-to-day requirements across multiple platforms to ensure Dispatch SLA's are met, to include error logging and management Liaising with all operational departments to ensure the efficient management of dispatch and ordering of consumables.
Ensure stock movements are accurately recorded, assisting with stock take at the end of each month.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security whilst adhering to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems.
Line management repsonsibility for all Dispatch Assistants including assigning tasks appropriately and appraising results.
