 
        
        Director of Housekeeping – Luxury Hotel
The Director of Housekeeping is a key member of the hotel's executive team, responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the property. This leadership role ensures that every detail reflects the brand's commitment to luxury, refinement, and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead and inspire the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver impeccable service that aligns with the hotel's five-star standards.
 * Oversee daily operations of guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure flawless presentation and functionality.
 * Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning, inspection, and maintenance, ensuring consistency and excellence across all areas.
 * Collaborate closely with the Rooms Division, Engineering, Front Office, and Food & Beverage departments to maintain seamless service and communication.
 * Monitor and manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and inventory to achieve operational efficiency without compromising quality.
 * Conduct regular room and area inspections, ensuring adherence to brand standards, safety protocols, and health regulations.
 * Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain a culture of professionalism, discretion, and guest-centered service.
 * Respond promptly and tactfully to guest requests, preferences, and service recovery situations, ensuring complete satisfaction.
 * Oversee linen, uniform, and amenity inventories, ensuring consistent quality and availability.
 * Lead sustainability and eco-conscious initiatives within the department, focusing on waste reduction and efficient resource use.
 * Prepare and present regular performance and quality reports to senior management, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

 * Proven track record in luxury hospitality, with a deep understanding of five-star service standards and guest expectations.
 * Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a large, diverse team.
 * Keen attention to detail and a passion for maintaining pristine environments.
 * Strong financial acumen and experience managing departmental budgets.
 * Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
 * Proficiency in property management and housekeeping systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, Quore).
Education and Experience
 * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
 * Minimum of 7 years of progressive housekeeping management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a luxury or five-star hotel.
