Overview
Join a growing renewable energy company driving Ireland’s clean energy transition. My client is seeking an experienced Solar PV Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate residential solar installation operations across Ireland. This role involves managing relationships with external installation partners, ensuring seamless project delivery, and maintaining exceptional quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge of solar PV systems with strong coordination and communication skills to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow relationships with external solar installation partners.
* Coordinate installation projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and to required specifications.
* Review technical surveys and communicate changes clearly with customers and partners.
* Monitor partner performance, KPIs, and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure all installations comply with SEAI standards, Safe Electric regulations, and building requirements.
* Oversee project reporting, quality assurance, and documentation.
* Support process optimisation and efficiency using project management tools such as Monday.com.
Skills & Experience
* 3–5+ years’ experience in operations, coordination, or project management within the solar PV, renewable energy, construction, or electrical sectors.
* Past experience running an operations department of a similar scale of installing 100+ residential installs per month or equivalent commercial experience.
* Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and battery storage.
* Knowledge of SEAI grant processes, Irish electrical and building compliance standards.
* Proven ability to manage contractors and multiple concurrent projects.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in project management and productivity software (e.g. Monday.com, Microsoft Office).
* Full clean driving licence (occasional travel required).
* Electrical qualification or SEAI accreditation.
