It is a full time, permanent role. The company recognised as one of the leading High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering services companies in Ireland, delivering world-class solutions. They offer electrical design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services for bespoke and full turnkey solutions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as a key client-facing representative, building strong professional relationships.Lead project designs from initial concept through to successful delivery.Mentor and guide Graduate Design Engineers, providing technical oversight and reviewing their calculations.Prepare clear and comprehensive project reports .Work closely with talented engineers and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver innovative solutions.Liaise with clients and local authorities to ensure designs meet all requirements and regulations.Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance in every stage of the project lifecycle.Experience and Education RequiredDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 minimum; Master's degree advantageous).6+ years of post-graduate design experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.Experience in Ireland is highly desirableProven experience in building and infrastructure projects, particularly electrical infrastructure, transformer bunds, foundations for electrical switchgear, substations, and drainage systems.Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and experience using finite element and frame analysis software (e.g., Tekla, SCIA).Proficiency in Civil Design software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage.Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting team development.A logical, imaginative, and safety-focused approach to problem solving and decision-making.Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills .Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.Chartered status is highly desirable.Valid Safe Pass and driving licence required.Salary & BenefitsAnnual Leave: 23 days, increasing to 25 days4% Pension from day 1Family Leave Top-Up: Full salary support for maternity & paternity leaveHybrid Working: 1–2 days remoteEnhanced Sick Leave: 10 paid sick days per year at full payGP Care& more
