The Department of the Registrar provides applicants and students with administrative support throughout their academic journey - from registration to graduation and beyond. It consists of four main areas - Quality Assurance, Assessment and Awards, Student Affairs and Admissions. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to support our busy Admissions Team within the Department of the Registrar. Role Overview : The summer intern will work closely with the Admissions Team to support application processing, data integrity, and student communications. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in higher education administration, admissions processes, and student engagement. Key Responsibilities: Provide regulatory leadership and guidance to registry, academic and administrative staff. Assist with the processing of student applications and supporting documentation. Perform data entry, review, and quality assurance on applicant records in the college's student information system. Communicate with prospective students via email and phone regarding application status and required documents. Support the preparation and delivery of applicant correspondence and decision letters. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives. Help with the organisation and digital filing of admissions-related documentation. Provide general administrative support to the Admissions Team and wider Department of the Registrar as needed. Requirements : Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate (preferably in Education, Business, Administration, or related field). Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, and digital tools. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
