Job Overview
Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort located in Blessington, County Wicklow, Ireland is seeking a Wedding & Events Executive to secure and produce events from conception through to completion.
Reporting to the Weddings & Events Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all event enquiries via in person, telephone, e-mail and respond promptly. You will find pleasure in planning and executing successful weddings and events with the support of the wider team, ensuring guest satisfaction. Prior knowledge of HotSoft would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Be flexible with travel to and working at locations as required by business needs and the Wedding & Events Manager.
Enthusiastically sell weddings and event services, including all company products and services.
Achieve agreed targets set in consultation with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Maintain and improve hotel standards by communicating client and guest feedback to relevant managers.
Be knowledgeable of all company products, cross‑selling when possible.
Proactively generate sales using own initiative.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel.
Courteous and focused on consistently high service standards.
Team player with ability to multi‑task.
Standards driven and detail orientated, with desire to progress within the hospitality industry.
Strong organisational, critical thinking and communication skills.
Attention to detail, good judgment and empathetic manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English (written & oral).
Must have permission to work in Ireland.
HotSoft knowledge would be beneficial.
