National Account Manager

Dublin, Leinster (Hybrid)

We're now hiring a National Account Manager to join our high-performing Commercial team.

The Role: National Account Manager

You'll be responsible for revenue, margin, and profit delivery for one of our key customers. This is a strategic, customer-facing role working closely with the Customer Director and cross-functional teams to drive growth for Valeo's brands.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Own and manage a key customer account, ensuring strong commercial performance and relationship growth.
2. Hold full P&L responsibility for your account.
3. Ensure full visibility and availability of SKUs across all relevant customer touchpoints.
4. Secure new product listings through strategic negotiation.
5. Lead product launch execution at customer level for maximum impact.
6. Collaborate with Sales Management and Field Sales teams to align on merchandising and retail execution.
7. Plan and manage customer-specific pricing strategies and increases.
8. Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams on commercial projects and problem-solving.
9. Leverage category and shopper insights to drive customer growth.
10. Manage customer communications, inquiries, and financial terms (e.g. DSO, deductions).

What You'll Bring

5+ years' experience in a senior commercial role within FMCG

Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills

Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally

Experience managing complex customer P&Ls

Ability to think strategically (1–3 years) while delivering day-to-day results

Strong commercial acumen and customer relationship management skills

Excellent at identifying opportunities and converting them into results
