Brightwater have partnered with a large financial services group that are now looking to hire a senior risk analyst that will report directly into the Enterprise Risk Manager.This role will suit an experienced risk, compliance or audit professional that is looking to take the next step in their career.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a diverse risk management team across Risk, Business, IT, Operations, Actuarial, and Finance.Support the Enterprise Risk Manager in embedding the ERM framework to meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.Contribute to risk methodologies and provide subject matter expertise to the business.Partner with global risk colleagues to share best practices.Produce risk reports and support Risk Governance processes, including coordination with Risk Oversight Committees.Report on emerging risks internally and externally.Promote risk awareness and support development of policies and governance documentation.Perform 2nd line review and challenge activities, including risk assessments and follow-up on actions.Support review and challenge of 1st line risk responses.Skills & ExperienceExperience in risk management, finance, or related fields.Strong understanding of ERM frameworks and regulatory environments.Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and challenge risk activities.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with global teams.Proactive approach to improving processes and driving risk culture.
