Pig Farm Manager Position
We are seeking a skilled Pig Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multi-site pig farming enterprise.
* Responsibility for managing between 10–20 pigs across multiple sites, including 8 out farms.
* Oversight of all aspects of daily farm operations and management of flat decks or farrowing, depending on allocation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Feeding, serving, and caring for pigs.
2. Administering vaccinations and maintaining veterinary records.
3. Moving pigs between housing units.
4. Monitoring and supporting several out farms (main base is on core site).
5. Supervising daily farm tasks and allocating duties to workers.
6. Ordering supplies and coordinating maintenance.
7. Loading pigs for transport to the factory (including early morning starts as overtime).
