Summary:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing leads, as well as assisting in closing new business opportunities that result in successful, profitable, and long-term client relationships. The right candidate will bring strong organizational skills, the ability to identify and create efficiencies, relationship-building skills, operational knowledge, the ability to comprehend and retain new information, and the ability to resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities to generate and qualify leads to align with RVP and BDM targeted accounts.
2. Rapidly engage with prospects/clients to identify their requirements and potential business opportunities.
3. Create a list of potential buyers using tools provided to sales, qualify leads, and opportunities.
4. Manage incoming leads and close or align according to the value of the overall opportunity.
5. Using consultative selling, articulate an executive vision of how ULG solutions can benefit potential customers.
6. Demonstrate commercial acumen and understanding of client’s business needs, identifying where ULG's suite of services can offer value.
7. Continuously keep abreast of industry, market, and competitor developments in order to grow and develop the business.
8. Develop and maintain extensive product and industry knowledge.
9. Achieve and exceed minimum agreed quotas.
10. Other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time.


Education, Experience & Skills:

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
3. Views this role as a stepping stone to career progression and development.
4. Effective time management and organization skills.
5. 1-2 years of experience in the translation and localization industry preferred.
6. Ideally with experience in business development and sales.
7. Proven track record of achieving goals.
