ClareOur client, a leading electrical contractor, is seeking an experiencedSeniorElectrical Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a battery storage project based near Ennis in County Clare.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the commercial and contractual management of the project from initiation through to completionAct as the main commercial interface with the client and project stakeholdersLead project procurement, including subcontractor packagesCarry out detailed cost and risk analysisReview contractual correspondence from clients, design teams, and subcontractors, identifying key commercial and contractual mattersManage all commercial aspects of subcontractorsPrepare and present project cost, margin, and cashflow reportsManage variations and change control procedures and agree costs with the clientRequirementsThird level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related disciplineMinimum of 5 years' experience working as a Project or Senior Quantity SurveyorStrong civils background essentialPrevious experience within electrical and/or mechanical projects is a strong advantageExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlinesHigh attention to detail and strong commercial awarenessAbility to influence and work effectively with stakeholders at all levelsEnjoy working as part of a high-performing project team
