Job Summary: This role involves providing individualised support to people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, enabling them to fully participate in training, community activities, work experience, or employment. Supports may include assistance with personal care and other needs throughout the day.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Support and enable individuals to fully engage in training and/or work experience.
* Provide personal assistance in all aspects of personal care and manual handling, ensuring comfort, hygiene, and adherence to safe practices at all times.
* Assist with medication administration according to policy and procedure as required.
* Support individuals with physical disabilities in using assistive technology equipment, typing, handwriting, creative materials, etc.
* Maintain high levels of safety by adhering to health and safety legislation and procedures, and report any concerns regarding safety and welfare to the Manager.
