The ideal candidate will combine strong visual flair with excellent customer service and selling skills.Key responsibilitiesVisual merchandisingPlan, create and maintain inspiring room sets, window displays and feature areas that reflect the Cooneys Home Interiors brand.Implement seasonal and promotional layouts (e.g. Christmas, sale events, new ranges) to maximise impact and sales.Ensure all displays are well‑priced, clearly ticketed and fully stocked, with strong attention to detail and standards.Work with management to plan floor moves, store layout and product adjacencies based on sales performance and new stock arrivals.Produce simple guidelines/photos so other team members can maintain visual standards in your absence.Sales & customer serviceAct as a senior sales consultant on the shop floor, delivering outstanding service to every customer.Use your product and styling knowledge to advise customers on furniture, interiors and accessories, building complete room solutions and increasing average transaction value.Lead by example in meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.Support and coach other sales staff on visual standards, add‑on selling and customer experience.GeneralWork closely with the management team on store events, launches and promotional activity.Assist with pricing, ticketing, replenishment and general store standards as required.Be available for early mornings/late evenings during key trading periods (especially Christmas and sale changeovers) to complete floor moves with minimal disruption to customers.The personStrong visual eye with proven experience in visual merchandising, interior styling or a similar creative retail role (furniture/homewares experience an advantage).Confident, experienced retail sales professional with a track record of achieving sales targets.Commercially aware, able to balance creativity with what sells and use sales data/feedback to influence layouts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage customers and support colleagues.Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Energetic, hands‑on and comfortable with the physical aspects of the role (moving furniture, lifting, climbing ladders, etc.).Flexible attitude with a willingness to work weekends and extended hours during peak trading periods."Please apply with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience in visual merchandising and retail sales."Job Type: Full-timePay: €27,000.00-€42,989.23 per yearBenefits:Company pensionEmployee discountOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
