Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Legal Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Partners, Solicitors, and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete digital dictation and other typing tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain and update our case management system with relevant information and documentation.
* Prepare briefs for counsel and court books for trials and motions.
* Perform general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
* Arrange medical and consultant appointments as needed.
* Client Interaction: Answer telephone calls, take messages, and liaise with clients on behalf of Partners and Solicitors.
Requirements
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience as a legal secretary required.
* Litigation experience is desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
* Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
