- Kilkenny We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join an established accountancy practice.This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth initiatives.This role can be across a 4 or 5-day working week.Key Responsibilities: Preparation and review of statutory financial statements, management accounts, and year-end accounts.Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries.Preparation and review of corporation tax, VAT, and income tax returns.Ensuring compliance with Irish GAAP/FRS and relevant regulatory requirements.Liaising directly with clients to provide timely and practical financial guidance.Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required.Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and client efficiencies.Qualifications & Experience: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).Minimum 23 years post-qualification experience in practice.Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards and tax compliance.Experience managing a client portfolio.Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.Key Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Excellent communication and client relationship skills.High attention to detail and organisational capability.Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.Whats on Offer: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Flexible working hours ; 4 or 5-day working week; hybrid Free designated parking and onsite canteen.Pension contribution.End of year bonus.Supportive and collaborative working environment.
