Job Description
This is a full-time, office-based role in Dublin 4. The role is suitable for a recent Business/Commerce graduate interested in pursuing a career in accounting. The successful candidate will participate in our accountancy training program to achieve ACCA qualification or equivalent.
Role
* Gain exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounts / Year-end audit work
* Process purchase invoices from P.O. stage to payment
* Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
* Ensure all invoices/expenses are fully and correctly allocated
* Maintain accounts payable ledgers by verifying and posting transactions
* Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
* Generate sales invoices and account statements
* Assist with cash control and resolve customer queries
* Maintain accounts receivable ledgers and records
* Liaise with auditors and complete bank reconciliations
Requirements
* No prior experience necessary
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-functional team
* Committed to pursuing an accounting qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
* ACCA or equivalent examination exemptions are preferred but not essential
