- Dublin Our client, a large global pharmaceutical firm is going through a significant program of change across their manufacturing plant which requires strategic planning and delivery of necessary works and the management of certain planned shutdowns to facilitate these changes and upgrades.The PM will act as the central point of control for the programme development and will work closely with all stakeholders across engineering, EHS, quality, and external consultants and contractors.The program of works will incorporate multiple projects which will need to be sequenced with minimal margin for error to avoid impacting live manufacturing sections of the business.Major Duties: Developing and maintaining a logic-linked, integrated master programme covering all projects in scope.Develop a fully integrated master schedule covering all identified enabling and associated projects.Progressively incorporating approved, emerging, and provisional projects.Developing the programme to Level 3 planning detail where possible, particularly for shutdown-critical activities.Defining, testing, and challenging shutdown strategies for 2026-2027.Integrating pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown activities.Coordinating interfaces between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain.Integrating contractor and project-level schedules and validating logic and sequencing.Supporting scenario planning and "what-if" analysis to inform decision-making.Providing monthly programme reporting, with interim updates where programme milestones are impacted.Background: The successful candidate will come from an Engineering background and will have gained at least 8-10 Project Management, Project Controlling or Program Management experience.Strong Engineering academics to a Level 9 Qualified are desirable as is a PMP or PMI designation.This is a serious opportunity to take ownership over a multiple impact projects for a client of ours in the Pharmaceutical sector.There is an excellent Day Rate on offer for the successful candidate.For further info please contact Matt Fitzpatrick in Marks Sattin.We are happy to provide application and/or accessibility support, please contact your Marks Sattin or Grafton consultant directly to discuss your needs.
