Senior Data Engineer 6 Month Contract Dublin - 3 days onsite per week We are working with a client in Dublin that is looking for an experienced Data Engineer that will help their organisation design and implement data solutions using the Microsoft Azure and Databricks platform. Responsibilities Include: Design, develop, and optimise end-to-end data pipelines using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory & Azure Databricks Build robust ETL / ELT processes supporting batch and real-time workloads. Implement monitoring, testing, and performance-tuning to ensure data quality, reliability, and efficiency. Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-impact solutions. Support CI/CD tooling and DevOps processes for continuous improvement and automation. Experience Required: 5+ years experience in a Data Engineering role Extensive experience working on the Azure Cloud Platform, using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database & Azure Storage Experience implementing the Databricks platform Strong knowledge of data engineering best practices and data governance frameworks Strong experience of ETL processes, Data Modelling and Data Warehousing concepts Experienced in Python programming & PySpark Experience working in an agile environment Certified in Azure Data Engineering/ Databricks is highly advantageous.
