Senior Project Manager
Overview
A highly capable Project Manager is required to lead two ongoing technology and process-driven projects. The first is a software delivery and DevOps implementation initiative with workstreams nearing completion, requiring strong coordination, technical understanding, and structured delivery oversight. The second involves driving compliance and process reviews aligned to NIST-style standards, particularly around Disaster Recovery (DR) and Security.
This role is fully onsite in Dublin, with some flexibility needed for collaboration with a team based in the US The DevOps/software project is expected to consume approximately 2-3 days per week, with the remainder focused on the process-driven compliance project.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Software Delivery Project
* Oversee final stages of a DevOps environment implementation across Prod, UAT, and Dev environments.
* Manage completion of a VB6 → .NET application upgrade (currently ~80% complete).
* Coordinate and deliver work associated with splitting out an existing database.
* Ensure the organisation's internal DevOps model is properly implemented and adopted.
* Provide structured project documentation, governance, and progress reporting.
* Collaborate with Memphis-based stakeholders, requiring flexibility for occasional late-day calls.
NIST / Process Review Project
* Lead a structured project to review and update business processes in line with NIST-equivalent standards.
* Focus particularly on Disaster Recovery, Security, and related operational controls.
* Coordinate workshops, gap analysis, documentation updates, and implementation activities.
* Ensure clear traceability, compliance, and sign-off across all defined processes.
Required Experience & Skills
* 7+ years' proven experience delivering technology and operational projects end-to-end.
* Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
* Strong background in software delivery, including upgrades, migrations, or technical implementations.
* Ability to manage cross-functional teams and 3rd-party contributors across time zones.
* Highly polished communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
* Proven track record of getting things done-able to drive structure, remove blockers, and maintain delivery momentum.
* Excellent documentation, governance, and reporting capability.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience with DevOps environments or tooling (any flavour).
* Exposure to NIST, ISO9001, or similar compliance frameworks.
* Understanding of database architecture or application modernisation projects.
* Prior experience working with US-based technology teams.
What Success Looks Like
* DevOps environment fully implemented and stable.
* VB6 → .NET upgrade delivered to completion, with all risks/defects managed.
* Database split executed without operational disruption.
* All required NIST-aligned processes reviewed, updated, documented, and approved.
* Stakeholders have clear visibility of progress, risks, decisions, and timelines.
