ATG are looking for an experienced Senior Facade Engineer to join a dynamic team, specializing in precast concrete solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-quality facade systems across various projects in the UK and Ireland.
This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of precast concrete systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and engineering of precast concrete facades, ensuring structural integrity, aesthetics, and performance.
Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative facade solutions that meet project specifications.
Conduct detailed structural analysis, thermal modeling, and material assessments to optimize facade performance.
Ensure compliance with Irish and European building regulations, standards, and best practices.
Oversee project management tasks, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure the accurate production and installation of facade elements.
Review and approve detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Manage client relationships, presenting design proposals and progress reports.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facade engineering, with a strong focus on precast concrete systems.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools. In-depth knowledge of Irish and European building regulations and standards.
Proven track record of managing large-scale facade projects from concept to completion.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
