High Convenience Retail Store Manager – Cork City
Salary €55,000 - €60,000 DOE + bonus and staff discount.

This high-performing, fast-paced outlet features a modern specification and a dedicated team of up to 25 skilled employees, including a busy deli counter responsible for almost half of the trade.
The role focuses on fresh food, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Ensure the site runs efficiently and smoothly.
Drive store profitability, sales and achieve financial objectives, including controlling waste, shrink, and labour costs.
Maintain high standards in merchandising, customer service, and hygiene that reflect well on the group's reputation.
Handle all HR and H&S related queries and ensure full compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Retail Grocery Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar retail food environment; a background in catering may be considered if the structure is comparable.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team of deli chargehands, Assistant Managers, Supervisors and senior staff.
Commercially astute, able to identify revenue opportunities, manage costs and leverage the supplier network.
Working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP and Consumer Law.
