PLEASE APPLY USING OFFICIAL HSE APPLICATION FORM *** The DPSSM will support the PPSM and the General Services Manager in the effective and efficient delivery of all Portering, Security, Mortuary, Access control and CCTV monitoring functions across the hospital campus.
The post holder will contribute to service development, operational management, quality improvement and the maintenance of a safe, secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
The DPSSM will play a key leadership role in supervising day-to-day activity, implementing policies and procedures, managing performance, supporting workforce management, and assisting in the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and continuously improving non-clinical support services.
A core aspect of the role includes providing rapid and effective response during internal incidents such as fire, flood, or other emergencies, and supporting the execution of the Portering and Security components of the Hospital's Major Emergency Plan.
