About this Role:
The role of Health Care Assistant involves engaging in daily activities and routines of the service, including direct support to service users, administrative work, and daily household tasks.
This position requires working as part of a dedicated team within Residential Services, providing a service to individuals in line with HIQA regulations & standards.
Due to the nature of the position, some flexibility may be required from time to time in relation to hours of work.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
A relevant QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent is mandatory. Minimum one year experience in a similar environment supporting adults or children with intellectual and physical disabilities is also required.
Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs.
Full manual driver's license is mandatory for eligibility.
