This is an8-week contract.The successful candidate will provide on-site safety leadership, ensuring high standards of compliance across construction and contractor activities within a live pharmaceutical environment.Key DutiesCarry out routine and ad-hoc site safety inspections, ensuring adherence to project, company, and client safety standardsProvide practical guidance to site teams on safe systems of work, equipment use, and risk control measuresSupport the coordination and monitoring of subcontractor safety performanceIdentify unsafe acts or conditions and ensure corrective actions are implementedManage incident, accident, and near-miss reporting, including investigation, root cause analysis, and close-out of actionsCompile safety reports and contribute to performance metrics for site managementReview and assess Safe Work Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments prior to task executionDeliver site inductions and toolbox talks as required during night operationsCandidate RequirementsExperience in a Health & Safety role within construction or industrial projectsRecognised Health & Safety qualification (Diploma or equivalent)Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificationPrevious experience working on construction sites; pharmaceutical or regulated environments desirableStrong ability to work independently during night shiftsWell-developed communication, organisational, and problem-solving skillsCapable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced site environmentMust have legal authorisation to work in Ireland
