Position Details
* Job type: Full-time
* Location: Sligo, Finisklin (partial remote work may be considered)
* Working schedule: Monday to Friday
* Education: Advanced/Higher Certificate (preferred)
* Salary: will be based on experience and qualifications
* Starting date: as soon as possible
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the Sales & Reservations teams
* Maintain the purchase ledger
* Process bank transactions in the accounts system
* Prepare payment runs via online banking
* Maintain and reconcile bank accounts
* Post client receipts in our CRM and accounting software (Xero)
* Handle transactions in multiple currencies (EUR and GBP)
Key Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the tourism industry
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
* Strong organisational, numerical, and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Working knowledge of Xero (not essential) and ability to quickly learn in-house systems
* Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage but not essential
* Fluency in English; French is a plus, but not required.
