Summer Conversation Series with Inclusive Dance Cork
Inclusive Dance Cork is delighted to announce our upcoming Online Summer Conversation Series – seven evenings of inspiring conversations on inclusive dance, hosted by Inclusive Dance Cork: Artistic Director Rhona Coughlan.

Conversation Schedule:
Adam Benjamin is a renowned choreographer, educator, and pioneer of integrated dance. He co-founded and was Artistic Director of CandoCo Dance Company (1991–1998), the first professional company for disabled and non-disabled dancers.
28th July, 6.30pm – 8.00pm: Kimberley Harvey
Kimberley Harvey is a disabled dance artist who performs, choreographs, teaches, and occasionally writes. Her work spans contemporary dance, outdoor festivals, and physical theatre.
4th August, 6.30pm – 8.00pm: Jorge Crecis
Jorge Crecis’ work bridges the physical and conceptual, celebrating movement as a space of radical inclusivity. A former dancer with CandoCo, he recently choreographed for AXIS Dance Company in San Francisco to critical acclaim.
11th August, 6.30pm – 8.00pm: Marc Brew
Marc Brew trained at The Australian Ballet School and has worked globally for over 25 years as a dancer, director, choreographer, teacher, and speaker. His duet an Accident / a Life was named one of The Guardian Observer’s Top 5 Dance Reviews of 2024.
18th August, 6.30pm – 8.00pm: Nadia Adame
Nadia is an international actor, dancer, and choreographer. She recently won the Audience Award at ARFF Berlin for Filum, and currently serves as Artistic Director of AXIS Dance Company in San Francisco.
Kim Epifano is an acclaimed choreographer and educator whose 40-year career spans dance, theatre, and community engagement. She was Artistic Director of Epiphany Dance Theater for 30 years and has worked with Croí Glan, AXIS, and others.
1st September, 6.30pm – 8.00pm: Rhona Coughlan – In conversation with Cindy Cummings
Rhona Coughlan is a disabled dancer and choreographer, founder of Wheels in Motion (1994), and co-founder of Croí Glan (2006). She has been a pioneering voice in inclusive dance in Ireland and is the Artistic Director of Inclusive Dance Cork.

Inclusive Dance Cork is a training programme for people with and without disabilities who are interested in learning inclusive dance methods. Designed to foster expressive movement, it provides dancers with the opportunity to explore different ways of dancing, facilitating, and supporting dancers of all abilities.
