HGV Mechanic Newry £14 to £20per hour Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have a passion for problem-solving.
This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.
Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop or field.
Experience Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and electrical systems.
Level 3 Qualification in Heavy Goods Mechanic or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
