HVAC Design & Technical Support Engineer
Overview
A leading engineering company is seeking an HVAC Design & Technical Support Engineer to provide product selection, design guidance, and technical support for commercial ventilation and HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities
Select and specify HVAC and ventilation products, providing design support to consulting engineers, contractors, and installers
Review and analyse project specifications, schedules, and design drawings for compliance and feasibility
Provide technical support to site teams and customers, both remotely and on-site
Ensure projects comply with current engineering standards and directives (e.g. Part L, ERP, HTM)
Support engineering team during Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
Develop bespoke HVAC solutions in collaboration with the engineering team to meet client requirements
Experience & Requirements
Third-level qualification in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar HVAC or building services role
Strong organisational and project coordination skills
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
Experience with commercial HVAC systems, ventilation, and mechanical services
