Enterprise Business Development Manager
Location: Dublin
Duration : Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective business strategies to grow ICT business within the public sector in Ireland. Generate leads or pipeline from customers in public sector.
2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the public sector.
3. Understand the specific needs and challenges of the public sector, offering customized solutions that leverage portfolio of ICT products and services with channel partners.
4. Coordinate with internal teams, including channel partner team, technical support, product development, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and government policies affecting the public sector, using this information to identify new business opportunities.
6. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Provide timely and insightful feedback to the senior management team on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities to deliver greater value to our clients.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
9. Ability to build relationships with high-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
10. Proven experience as an Business Development Manager, or similar role, with a focus on the ICT sector and public sector clients with 5-10 years' working experience.
11. Familiarity with the public sector's procurement processes and regulations in Ireland.
12. Strong understanding of the ICT industry needs, including wired and wireless datacom networks, LAN & WAN, WDM, GPON, FTTx, Data Storage, data center networks, etc.
13. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
14. Strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets.
15. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
