About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in setting standards and satisfying expectations in the quality of care, ensuring strict confidentiality in relation to patient records, and facilitating adherence with relevant policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include conducting technical aspects of Cardiac Physiology testing, reporting procedure findings, and highlighting abnormal results. Additionally, the role involves communicating verbally and/or in writing results, data interpretation, and reports to relevant teams and consultants.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will work collaboratively to ensure a safe work environment and contribute to the development of professional skills through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
* BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), or equivalent relevant scientific qualification
* Minimum 5 years' full-time experience as a Cardiac Physiologist, with international recognition of qualification
* Ability to conduct all technical aspects of Cardiac Physiology testing
* Pacemaker and ICD/CRT programming for theatre
* Report procedure findings and highlighting abnormal findings
Desirable Qualifications:
* BSE in Echocardiography or EACVI Adult transthoracic Echocardiography accreditation
* IBHRE (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners) certification
