Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering activities on a specific construction project. The tasks associated with the project will vary and will be agreed upon with the Project Manager on an ongoing basis.

Your responsibilities as a Mechanical Engineer include:

* Management of site safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, including setting up, managing, and closing out of the safety file.
">
* Management of site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager, including setting up, managing, and closing out of files.
">
* Familiarity with and management of project schedules in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting engineers, and client requirements.
">
* Assistance with the management of costs associated with your package, including subcontractors.
">
* Management of all day-to-day on-site operations.
">
* Management of subcontractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and workforce levels.
">
* Closeout of all project items, including O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File.
">
* Maintenance of weekly project photographic diaries.
">
* All other duties associated with this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
">
* A 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering or Senior Trades qualification or equivalent.
">
* Significant project engineering experience of 5 years+ with a mechanical contractor.
">
* Previous record of delivering small to medium mechanical projects.
">
* Capability of walking down mechanical systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
">
* Experience developing technical submittals and completing technical reviews and assessments.
">
* Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures.
">
* An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
">
* Excellent record-keeping and administration skills.
">
* Ability to lead and influence others.
">
* Mentorship and coaching of junior engineers and graduates.

Benefits:

You will be paid at a competitive hourly rate between €25 to €35 per hour, approximately €50,000 to €70,000 annually, with opportunities for overtime pay.
