About the role:
The Forecasting and Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing demand planning, inventory management, and supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs). This role ensures optimal stock levels, minimizes waste, and enhances supplier relationships to improve supply chain efficiency and business profitability.
Job Requirements
Knowledge & Experience
* 5+ years' experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and supplier performance management.
* Experience in FMCG environments and strong skills with forecasting and analytics tools.
* Background in supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; Master's or certifications (APICS, CPIM, CSCP) a plus.
Skills
* Strong Excel skills and proficiency with forecasting and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
* Project management capability in fast-paced environments.
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

* Excellent communication for effective stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibilities
* Forecasting & Demand Planning:
Build and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and analytics. Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to align planning with business goals.
* Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal inventory levels, improve turnover, reduce excess stock, and prevent stockouts. Develop strong inventory control processes and work closely with warehouse and logistics teams.
* Supplier KPI Management:
Set and monitor supplier KPIs such as delivery, quality, and availability. Conduct performance reviews and partner with Procurement to drive improvement initiatives.
* Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyse supply chain data to identify trends and risks. Produce reports on forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and supplier KPIs, presenting insights to senior leadership.
* Process Improvement & Cost Optimisation:
Identify inefficiencies, lead cost-saving initiatives, implement best practices and supporting technologies, and collaborate with Procurement and Finance to optimise purchasing strategies.
