About the Role:
Our client, a leading regulated manufacturer based in Waterford, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their dynamic HR team on an initial 6-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner closely with operations and leadership teams in a fast-paced, unionised, manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders, driving initiatives that support organisational goals and enhance employee engagement.
2. Lead and advise on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
3. Provide hands-on support to site management in a unionised environment, fostering strong industrial relations and collaborative communication.
4. Partner with key stakeholders to implement effective HR strategies across workforce planning, performance management, and talent development.
5. Contribute to organisational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and compliance with employment legislation.
Requirements:
6. Minimum 8 years' HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
7. Proven experience managing employee relations in a unionised setting.
8. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner at all levels of the organisation.
9. Demonstrated track record in delivering strategic HR initiatives that drive business performance.
10. Relevant HR qualification and a thorough understanding of Irish employment law.
