Project Engineer
Job Description
This is a 12-month contract opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our pharmaceutical facility on the west coast of Ireland.
The successful candidate will provide engineering services to maximise site process equipment and utility availability, manage capital projects within site using a project lifecycle approach, and support engineering teams in controlling uptime and optimising efficiencies.
Key responsibilities include:
* To provide engineering services to the plant, including provision of Engineering Maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
* To manage Capital Projects, from initiation through execution, following the Project Lifecycle approach.
* To improve operations and reliability of equipment and processes by identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
* To liaise with internal and external personnel and contract maintenance providers to maintain, troubleshoot and install/commission equipment.
Desirable Qualifications:
* A degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering discipline.
* Extensive site experience in API Manufacturing / OSD Manufacturing / BioPharm.
* Proven track record in delivering capital projects.
* Good knowledge of change control and C&Q processes/execution.
* Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, meeting predefined quality requirements.
