Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to support individuals with disabilities to live independent lives, foster active citizenship, and make a positive impact in the community.

* Empower Service Users to live independent lives in their home and the community.
* Support the development and delivery of person-centred plans.
* Develop partnerships to promote active citizenship in line with service user goals and wishes.
* Transport service users to access the community.
* Be responsible for Key Worker duties i.e. weekly administration, advocacy, liaison with families, and implement person-centred plans.


About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to providing high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to empower service users to live independently, fostering a sense of community and promoting active citizenship.

* Hold a relevant QQI qualification - minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent.
* Experience working with service users in the disability sector.
* Be over the age of 18.
* Have a full clean manual driving license with access to own vehicle for work purposes.
* Have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a relevant sector.
