HVAC/BMS Sales EngineerDublinWe're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and/or HVAC to support project estimating, solution development, and client engagement across smart building projects.Key responsibilities:Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to define scopeCarry out site surveys where required and identify technical or delivery risksProduce accurate cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, and specialist servicesPrepare and present competitive proposals and technical submissionsEngage with suppliers and manufacturers to secure pricing and technical inputSupport business development through new and existing client relationshipsProvide technical guidance throughout the sales and pre-construction processMaintain accurate estimating and sales documentationWhat we're looking for:Experience in technical sales, estimating, or pre-construction within BMS, EPMS,HVAC, or smart buildingsStrong knowledge of building controls, power monitoring, and integrated systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsProficiency with estimating tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similarCommercial awareness and strong communication skillsHighly organised, analytical, and detail-focusedQualifications:Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Building Services, or a related fieldDesirable:Exposure to supplier negotiations and value engineering€50,000 - €70,000 on experience yearlyLooking for someone with either: BMS expertise or Sales/Estimation experience in a similar industryThe client have had great success with engineers or previous engineers moving into this role
