Finance Manager - Permanent Location: Limerick Type: Full-time | Permanent Abrivia Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the construction sector to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a growing business with ambitious expansion plans in the Irish market. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and will take ownership of core finance operations, including transactional accounting, reconciliations, and finance administration. The role involves a mix of hands-on finance work and strategic input, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time Prepare and post supplier invoices and staff expenses Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, creditor and debtor reconciliations Manage month-end close activities, including journals, prepayments and accruals Complete RCT registration and reconciliation for subcontractors Prepare, submit and process weekly and monthly payroll Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation filing Support the preparation of management accounts and financial statements Prepare VAT, RCT and PAYE returns and ensure regulatory compliance Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to resolve financial queries Support audits and internal controls with relevant documentation and analysis Requirements: 3-4 years' experience in an accounts or finance role Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Experience with accounting systems or ERP software (Sage 50 preferred) High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively Desirable: Experience within the construction industry Payroll experience using Sage Payroll Currently studying or interested in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Benefits: Competitive salary of €60,000 - €65,000 DOE Pension Hybrid working model To Apply: Email your CV to or click 'Apply' to submit your application.
