Administration Assistant Clonmel Tipperary
This Work Placement Experience Programme provides participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. The programme is designed for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments or those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Eligibility will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.
Role Responsibilities
Participants will support the office and senior management in a busy environment, performing a range of administrative tasks and enhancing their skills in customer service and communication.
* Provide support to the office team and senior management.
* Handle correspondence and communications over the phone, in writing, and in person.
* Arrange meetings by scheduling times, booking rooms, and planning refreshments.
* Assist with data management, including inputs or updates on the Kare Plus IT management and rostering system.
* Draft, format, organise and print relevant documents.
* Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying and typing.
* Maintain stock lists and order office supplies as needed.
* Assist in promoting Kare Plus at employer events.
* Utilise client relations and customer service skills.
Training and Development
The placement includes both formal and informal training designed to enhance industry relevant skills and knowledge.
* Formal Training: Disability Awareness Training, Computer/IT Skills courses, Customer Service and Telephone Techniques.
* Informal Training: Customer Service skills, General office skills, Telephone and Communication Skills, Data entry, GDPR and Data Protection.
