This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy.

The Vacancy

The position of Claims Operations Assistant is to assist with the efficient claims operations and administration of the different geographical and specialty sectors, ensuring that the interests of members and the company are protected and reflect the company ethos by providing service excellence to Members and colleagues.

What will you be doing?

Key responsibilities will include:

* Working with colleagues to provide a professional and responsive service, meeting needs of the claims teams and wider organisation.
* Process fee invoices, reimbursement claims, and issue credit/debit notes across various sectors and regions.
* Ensuring that payment supporting documentation, correspondence and documents are saved and filed to relevant filing system appropriately to aid reference and retrieval for the Finance and Claims teams.
* Assisting with enquiries from the claims teams / members / finance department / service providers.
* Calling external organisations to verify banking details when a new beneficiary or a change in banking details.
* Claims administration tasks relating to internal systems.
* Compiling and providing claims reports, listings and reviews.
* Editing and amending documents.
* Carrying out searches to see whether we provided cover in previous policy years, to assist claims handlers on older Occupational Disease claims directed to the club.

About you

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

* Strong team player with a supportive, motivating and hands-on approach; confident in contributing ideas and taking ownership of tasks.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships a all levels, including senior stakeholders.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks and perform well under pressure.
* Adaptable and comfortable with shifting priorities; quick to learn new systems and processes.
* Proactive problem-solver with a pragmatic mindset, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
* Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
* Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications
