Job Title: Spa Reception Manager
Position Overview:
The Spa Reception Manager oversees the front-of-house operations, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role is responsible for managing the FOH, coordinating reservations, and maintaining a smooth flow between guests and spa staff. The Spa Reception Manager plays a key role in delivering a seamless guest experience that reflects the spa's standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will be diligent, resourceful and quick thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, train, and supervise the team to deliver outstanding guest service.
* Manage daily front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, appointment scheduling, and payment processing.
* Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
* Oversee reservations to optimise treatment room schedules and therapist availability.
* Maintain a welcoming and professional reception environment in line with spa standards.
* Coordinate with therapists, attendants, and management to ensure smooth communication and guest flow.
* Monitor and report on reception performance, guest satisfaction, and service standards.
* Handle cash management, billing accuracy, and reconciliation procedures.
* Support spa promotions, upselling of treatments, memberships, and retail products.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Previous experience in hospitality, front desk management, or spa/wellness environments.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Proficiency in spa booking systems and POS software.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for wellness, guest service, and luxury hospitality.
Schedule:
* Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
